Monee  Michaunne McKenna was blessed to be raised in a loving, Christian home with four brothers and one sister.  She spent her early years growing up in Chicago, but later her family packed up and moved to New Jersey.  Her Mom heard her singing in the back of their family station wagon (remember those ) and said to her Dad, “Paul, Monee can sing!”  And, so she did.  She sang with the young adult choir as a pre-teen…her first solo, “Jesus Loves Me.”
